Everywhere you go, there is advertisement plastered everywhere. Companies pay a lot of money to get their message and their company’s name out there, specifically through printed products. All of the advertisement and its associated printing are thus commercial. Commercial printing is the automatic and technical method of taking art work and print and shifting it onto a paper or plastic canvas, whether it is a billboard, brochure, business card, etc. Most businesses employ a type of offset printing to supplant four groups of color (cyan, magenta, yellow and black, also referred to as CMYK) onto the printed sheets. The CMYK process is one of the simplest and effective methods in producing printed marketing and advertising materials.

So whether a company needs business cards, or direct mail sheets to big billboards plastered in Times Square, New York City, commercial printing using the CMYK process is the way to go. The CMYK has been unchanged the past 100 years because of its efficient and simple way to produce mass products of commercial printing. It is the number one process for all companies wishing to do some commercial printing to further advertise their company.
